Epidemiologist Branislav Tiodorovic told a Serbian government press conference on Thursday that it isn’t yet necessary to quarantine entire cities, but could be if people do not act responsibly.
“We are not in that scenario yet, but if people do not realise that we are all important agents in this… then this scenario will also have to be enforced,” said Tiodorovic, a member of an advisory group of experts assembled by the government.
There are now 457 cases in Serbia, up 73 from Wednesday.
