More than 30,000 people in three regions were left without electricity, as the storm, referred to as a hurricane, blew down 3,500 trees in the city.
Flights from Moscow's airports were canceled on Monday.
TASS quoted Russia's Emergency Ministry on Tuesday to report that the storm that hit central Russia damaged roofs of more than 180 buildings and over 1,900 vehicles.
More than 130 commuter trains and 23 long distance trains were delayed and four aero express trains to the Vnukovo airport were canceled, the agency said.
