BELGRADE –
There are plans for Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev to come to Serbia, but the exact date of the visit is still unknown, Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Chepurin said Monday.
Organising the PM’s visit requires very serious preparations, Chepurin said, adding that Medvedev’s visit was on the agenda but that the exact date had still not been confirmed.
When asked if a military parade would be staged in the Serbian capital during the visit, Belgrade Mayor Sinisa Mali told reporters he had no information on this and that it was not up to the city authorities to decide on the matter.
If a decision to hold the parade is made, the city authorities will back it, Mali added.
